★２ 原文は Throw my heart in the ring だが次のイディオムから来ているのだろう。
throw one's hat in the ring : 名乗りをあげる、立候補する、参加を告げる（語源はリング内にいるボクサーに客が挑戦するとき、リング内に帽子を投げ入れたことから）
