※　オール黒人キャストのブロードウェイ・レヴュー「ランニン・ワイルド」にて、アデレイド・ホール等 (Adelaide Hall, Ina Duncan, Aruthur D. Porter ) によって紹介された、やや哀愁を帯びたナンバー。ディキシー・ジャズ・スタンダードであり、後にリナ・ホーンの十八番ともなった。

もとは、南部 (down home) への郷愁を歌ったものらしいが、ただ一人の人に思いを寄せる一途な思いを歌ったラヴ・ソングと解釈してもいいだろう。
この曲に２年先立つヒット曲、 There'll Be Some Changes Made 、とのヴァースを比べるのも面白い。
