※ 20世紀フォックス社のバックステージものミュージカル映画 On the Avenue (1937) でアリス・フェイ、コーラス・ガール及びリッツ・ブラザーズが歌い踊った軽快なリズム・ナンバー。
この映画からは "I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm", "This Year's Kisses" などのスタンダードやエラ・フィッツジェラルドがアーヴィング・バーリン集のアルバムで録音した "Slumming on Park Avenue" "You're Laughing at Me" などの歌も紹介された。
マイケル・ファインスタインによると、この歌のマニュスクリプトはRKO の音楽書簡に存在されており1934年後半ないし1935年には書かれた曲だとのこと。
なおリフレイン２に続くアリス・フェイが女学生役のコーラスガールたちと歌った歌詞、それに続くリッツ・ブラザーズの踊りながらの歌詞は訳を略した。
当時評判となった録音として、テディ・ウィルソン楽団（歌：ビリー・ホリディ）、ベニー・グッドマン楽団（歌：ジミー・ラッシング）、ジミー・ランスフォード楽団などがある。（SecondHandSongs によるパフォーマー・リスト参照）
