INCURABLY ROMANTIC

※　こてこてのラヴ・バラードのようでいて過敏症 (susceptible) 、治癒不能 (incurably) などラヴ・ソングとは思えない固めの言葉を使い、大層に歌っているのが軽いユーモアに感じる。

同じサミー・カーン作詞の Only Trust Your Heart(1964) も「月」「星」などの言葉の小道具を使った 「ロマンチックな雰囲気に分別を失う」という発想の歌で、比べてみるのも面白い。

1960年のコメディ映画 Let's Make Love (恋をしましょう）でフランキー・ヴォーン (Frankie Vaughan)、ビング・クロスビー、マリリン・モンロー、イヴ・モンタンなどが歌った。
