※ 曲名は Lazybones と綴られることもあるが南部方言を用いた能天気な怠け者の歌。ジョニー・マーサー最初のヒット曲。 曲は、カーマイケル自身が以前に書いた Washboard Blues (1926)からアダプトしたものらしい。
紹介したのはミルドレッド・ベイリーで評判となったのはルディ・ヴァレーの録音
