★１　タイトルの too close for comfort とは切迫して、近すぎてひやひや、あわやという所でといったイディオム

★２　cartは荷馬車、荷車、手押し車などの意味があるが、ここでは家庭用のワインやグラスを乗せたワゴンのようなものと思われる。

★３　too close to know just when to say when
　say whenで、酒を注ぐときなどに、いい分量になったら when（もう十分）といって下さいという。whenという頃合が把握できない位に接近しすぎている感じ。
